When you join a Zoom meeting hosted by another user, you are considered an Attendee. Step 3 – Overview – When You Have Joined A Zoom Meeting

  • YOU ARE IN and we are glad to see you!!.
  • At top right of screen click on Enter Full Screen.
  • The next screen – Click on blue box – Join With Computer Audio.
  • See yourself on screen- click on the blue box – Join With Video below your image.
  • To launch into the meeting – click on OPEN LINK at bottom of square.
  • Inside the blue box it will say – Zoom Meeting.
  • This will take you to the meeting access point – a square box in the middle of your screen.
  • We suggest that you sign in a few minutes early to address any problems that might arise. To join a meeting, simply click on the Join Zoom meeting link and follow the prompts. ( Please do not try to enter this meeting) Here is an Example of what the link will look like. The day of a program, you will receive an email.

    This is Not a Zoom account and you do not need a Zoom account to join a meeting. This link will take you to “Zoom client For Meetings” – click on DOWNLOAD to open app.

  • Recordings of Past Programs ( members only)īefore joining a Zoom meeting on a computer or mobile device, you can download the Zoom app from.
  • You can also leave the meeting early whenever you need to.

    When the meeting's completed by the host, you'll automatically leave the meeting as well. Connect your computer via ethernet instead of Wi-Fi when possible, and use a headset that connects by USB or audio jack instead of Bluetooth. Wired connections, for both your computer and audio devices, tend to be more reliable than wireless connections. This prevents you from delaying a meeting by setting up your camera and microphone after it starts. You can test both your camera and microphone in the Zoom app’s Settings screen to make sure that both are working properly before joining a meeting.

    Test Your Camera and Microphone Ahead of Time Using headphones will prevent this feedback. When you hear an echo during a meeting, it’s because someone’s microphone is picking up the audio from their speakers and repeating it. When you’re not talking, mute your own microphone so that any unexpected noises from your end don’t disrupt the meeting. If you’ll be sharing your screen, don’t have unnecessary windows or browser tabs open.

    If you’re going to be sharing your camera, check your background to make sure that there’s nothing that would distract others. Connect to a meeting from a quiet space with few distractions.
